For the attention of those families in receipt of FSM.
School is awaiting delivery today of the FSM vouchers for our families. We will be sending these out by first class post, as soon as they are received by school.
Thank you for your patience at this time.
Please see below the link to a letter advising of our school closure with effect from Monday 23rd March 2020.
School closure and reminder of online working arrangements for children
We are currently waiting for further clarification from the government as to the roles which are deemed to be Key Worker, but to support our planning, we have sent out a survey via our school app for parents to complete, asking them to state if they have a Key Worker Role and if they intend to send their children into school during the closure.
We have also sent a text to those parents not yet registered on the school app, asking they contact school by phone or email to provide the same information.
At present some of roles which are designated as Key Worker are NHS employees, Emergency Services personnel, delivery drivers, Prison officers and teachers.
It is important that you advise as soon as possible if, as a key worker, you will be sending your child/children into school, so we can plan effectively our provision following this Friday’s school closure.
As you are aware some of our pupils have nut allergies and as a result we are asking that parents of children on packed lunch DO NOT include any items containing nuts in their lunches.
I would also ask parents to support us in asking children not to share their lunch content with other children as many foods contain nut traces, which can cause harm to allergy sufferers. Thank you for your support.
Please read the letter sent home with your child today, or visit our letters home page to see information about Mr Southworth’s Thanksgiving Events following his retirement this Summer.
Come and join us for a Macmillan Coffee Afternoon on Friday 27th September 2019 from 2.30pm onwards. For a small donation to this worthy charity, you can enjoy cakes, biscuits and a hot beverage. We look forward to seeing you.
Return to School Wednesday 5th September 2018
We all look forward to seeing the children back in school tomorrow at 8.55am after the summer holiday. Breakfast club will be open for children as usual from 8.00am.
Due to an ongoing window replacement project in the hall, all children will go straight into their new classes. Staff will b available to direct parents as pats of the pathways near to the gym are out of bounds.
Early years children go straight into classes from their entrance.
Children in Years 1 and 2 will line up on the KS1 playground and staff will take them into class from there.
Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 will line up o the KS2 playground and staff will take them into class as usual.
I’m sure the children will have lots of news to share and we are excited to see them all back in school ready for the new year.
