Welcome to Nursery.
The team working in Nursery are; Miss Davin, supported by Miss Campbell, Miss Farrell, Miss Harper, Miss Morrow and Miss Spellman. We are very excited for this upcoming year and starting our first term together! We will keep you updated with the children’s learning via our year group Twitter feed @oli_nursery.
We ask that you please try and read with your child every night. Really focus on asking questions about their book as this will help them with their reading comprehension. Most importantly, you will spend some quality time with your child and instil a love of reading for pleasure!

WEEKLY TIMETABLE NURSERY – Autumn 1 2023
Home Learning
Children will be given a story book to share with you every Friday. Please read and re-read these stories do develop you child’s love of reading and comprehension. Please bring book bags back on a Wednesday in order for us to change your child’s book.
Every Friday we will also send home a ‘Vocabulary Flower’ with your child. This will contain new words we will introduce, linking to our learning and will support your child’s vocabulary development. Please talk about these words with your child and their meanings.
Sharing Learning
We will share your child’s learning with you via the App SeeSaw. We may also send some home learning activities through the App so please speak to staff if you need some support accessing SeeSaw.
