Community Events and Fully Funded support opportunities for families

Community Events and Fully Funded support opportunities for families

Dear all,

I hope you’re all well rested after the Easter break.

I’m really pleased to share the most recent list and Newsletter of upcoming community events taking place through Beautiful New Beginnings CIC, which I’ve attached for you to pass on to your families. These include a variety of forest schools, family mindfulness sessions, SEND parents’ coffee evenings, stay and plays, water wellbeing and lots more!

Best of all, your families can access these meaningful experiences and support without the worry of high expenses. One of the most rewarding aspects of working alongside a Community Interest Company is our shared commitment to making opportunities accessible for all. We work incredibly hard to secure funding so that these events are either completely free or heavily subsidised.

We are passionate about providing families with valuable, enjoyable experiences and support, without having to be placed on a long waiting list first, in friendly and welcoming environments. We can’t wait to welcome your families.

Please do feel free to share this information on your parent/carer forums, and do let me know if you’d like any additional details.

Confirmation of Ongoing Centre of Excellence Status

Dear all,

Congratulations, and a heartfelt thank you to everyone in our school community.

We are delighted to share that we have received confirmation of our ongoing IQM Centre of Excellence status. This is a fantastic achievement and reflects the dedication, care, and commitment shown by staff, students, and families alike.

Attached is the full report, which highlights a number of truly outstanding and inclusive practices across our school. If you don’t have time to read it in full, here are a few key quotes that capture the essence of what has been recognised:

“Inclusion is at the very heart of the school… it is the culture of the school.”

“Our Lady Immaculate has continued to exemplify inclusivity.”

“The school has such a commitment to ensuring that everyone receives a strong curriculum offer and that ‘nobody misses out’.”

Highlighted is strong inclusion & community impact:

“The level of support and nurture out of school for children and families is excellent and should be considered exceptional practice.”

“A strong sense of community and school family exists.”

“Parents described the school as: “we are one family” and spoke of “settled anxiety”.

🏆 Overall judgement

  • “The school have certainly earned their Centre of Excellence status.”
  • “I am firmly of the opinion that the school fully meets the standard required…”

Thank you once again for your continued support and for the vital role each of you plays in making our school such a special place.

Kind regards,
Mrs Chris Bowcock & Mrs Julie Brown.
