“The important thing is to never stop questioning” Albert Einstein.
At Our Lady Immaculate Primary School, we follow the National Curriculum.
We aim to provide a high quality and engaging science curriculum which encourages and enables our children to explore and discover the world around them, sparking their curiosity so that they develop a deeper understanding of our world and beyond.
We strive to develop children’s scientific skills through child led enquiry; skills which will enable them to work scientifically in a range of ways. Through this we hope to encourage a scientific approach to problem solving.
We value the importance of developing inquisitive young minds by giving our children a range of experiences working scientifically. We endeavour to provide our pupils with a range of opportunities to work scientifically- starting in EYFS.
