Our Year 3 and Year 6 were invited to Hugh Baird college to take part in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Maths) Expo 2024. What a fantastic time they had!

We were so lucky to have parents from Portugal come and teach us all about their culture. They even shared some famous Portuguese tarts with the class. Thankyou for joining our mother language day.

Well done to Miss Gallagher’s class who all read last night and we had 100% attendance today. Cookie day all round to celebrate our excellent attitude to reading at home and improving our attendance.
What a great lesson we had sorting and classifying rocks. We even had a go at using a classification key to find out the names of the rocks.
In maths today we explored the difference in mathematical language- ‘groups of 4’ and ‘4 equal groups’
