Reading Workshop at Anfield

This group of year 4 children had a brilliant time attending the author workshop at Anfield.

Staff were very excited to take part in World Book Day!

Shared Reading- Class Novel

The children are thoroughly enjoying reading the Angel of Nitshill Road by Anne Fine.

Great phonics today in Reception class. Well done Miss Doherty’s class.

Practicing writing our new phonemes, can you guess the grapheme we are learning about?

Book vote in Year One. Which would you choose?

@oli_nursery have been busy making fruit kebabs, as we know fruit is nutritious and delicious! We noticed the lovely colours and textures and can’t wait to taste the different flavours. @csergeant3 @DeputyOLI #olipdt #olipreading #YouChoose @pippagoodhart @oli_primary

We have been learning about lots of different foods and describing why we like them. #olipreading @csergeant3 @DeputyOLI @oli_primary@oli_primary

@oli_nursery enjoyed making themselves to finish our learning on ‘me and my family’. We look forward to next week’s page of ‘You Choose’. @csergeant3 @DeputyOLI #olippshe #olipart #olipreading

After introducing our new text, You Choose, we discussed our family members and some of us drew pictures of them. #olipreading #olipart @csergeant3 @DeputyOLI

@oli_nursery have been learning about colours linked to The Colour Monster. We’ve been trying to sort our colours and feelings into jars so we’re not like a confused Colour Monster. @csergeant3 @DeputyOLI #olippshe #olipreading
