Year 4&5 had a lovely visit to Edge Hill University yesterday. They were incredible in supporting the next generation of teachers as they took part in multiple grammar activities.

We were so lucky to have parents from Portugal come and teach us all about their culture. They even shared some famous Portuguese tarts with the class. Thankyou for joining our mother language day.

Hearts Project success!
Some of the team from OLI primary spent a lovely day at Hope School Liverpool on Tuesday, 4th October, celebrating the successes of our pilot group for the #HEARTS project. A huge congratulations to the Eco council who achieved their ‘Get up and Grow award’. They have really enjoyed the process and learnt so many new skills

Building a bug hotel
The Eco council really enjoyed their time at the Nature gardens this afternoon. We worked in groups to make our very own Bug hotels! We then placed these hotels around the garden.
Map work
Geography – year 2 created a practical map of our journey to Everton Park using colours and a key to represent the different landmarks
International Mother Language Day
We had a lovely afternoon learning to write our names and our birthdays in Chinese as part of our International Mother Language Day celebrations. We enjoyed seeing how all of our names looked!
