This week  more than 70 schools are joining forces to run a city-wide sponsored read  in a celebration of libraries, reading and the power of stories. Our Readathon had it’s first day today with children reading for pleasure  across school. We had mums and staff reading some of their favourite books to small groups and children recommending books to each other .

Please encourage your child to grasp this week to read for pleasure and have fun ! If you would like to come into school to read to small groups of children just let your child’s class teacher know . We’d love to see you !
