We believe that good attendance at school directly supports better attainment and a more stable school environment. We fully appreciate that there will be occasions that, due to ill health or specific situations, it will not be possible for your child to attend school and would ask in these circumstances that you contact the school as soon as possible if your child is unable to attend school. The Department for Education requires us to monitor and publish unauthorised absence figures. It is important to report all absence to the school to ensure monitoring procedures are correct. The Learning Mentor has provided Attendance and Punctuality guidelines, which outlines all aspects of attendance and punctuality. This is circulated to all parents annually.
